I am a psychologist and neuroscientist living in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. I grew up in a German family in the southeastern USA, where I studied psychology at Georgia Institute of Technology. I later lived in Central and South America in Honduras, Peru, and Colombia. During that time, I worked for over a year and a half as a teacher and psychologist with children from families living in poverty as well as with orphaned children.
I have been living in Germany since 2010. I completed a Master’s degree in Behavioral and Neural Sciences in Tübingen and earned my PhD in Psychology at the University Hospital and J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Since completing my doctorate, I teach psychology and conduct research at Hochschule Fresenius, School of Psychology.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, staying physically active and pursuing a range of hobbies, including exploring, reading, and triathlon.
