    Psychologist, Researcher and Neuroscientist

    Welcome!

I am Dr. Anne Martinelli, a psychologist and neuroscientist from the United States living in Frankfurt, Germany. As a (neuro)psychologist, it is central for me to consider the biological determinants and consequences of our social and physical environment, our psychological development and our behavior. A very large part of this relates to how we evaluate everyday interactions with others and the conclusions we draw about ourselves and others based on these evaluations. This includes how we experience and communicate with others regarding intentions, beliefs and wishes. These are areas of focus for me in teaching and research, as well as psychological support and counseling.

    Teaching

I teach a range of college courses on clinical and biological (neuro)psychology as well as research methods.

    Research

My research focusses on cognitive interpretation biases during social interactions and related psychological symptoms.

    Psychological Support

I offer personal psychological support and counseling for individuals looking for guidance while facing a variety of life challenges.
