    Psychologist, Researcher and Neuroscientist

    Welcome!

I am a psychologist and neuroscientist currently living in Frankfurt, Germany. I grew up in a German family in the southeastern United States, and have lived in Honduras, Peru and Colombia, working as a teacher and psychologist with children of families in poverty as well as orphans.

As a (neuro)psychologist, it is central for me to consider the biological determinants and consequences of social and physical environment, psychological development and behavior. A very large part of this relates to the cognitive evaluation of social interaction and the conclusions drawn regarding one’s self in interaction with one’s environment, including the experienced intentions and perceptions of others. These are areas of focus for me in teaching and research, as well as coaching and counseling.

    Teaching

I teach a range of college courses on clinical and biological (neuro)psychology.

    Research

My research focusses on cognitive interpretation biases during ambiguous social interaction.

    Psychological Support

I offer psychological support for individuals needing guidance while facing a variety of life challenges.
